Best hair oil for hair fall control and hair growth

I fell terribly sick at one stage and high fever bouts continued for days.

Once the fever left I found myself losing a lot of hair.

Later on in life I found myself struggling with immune diseases and stress.

It literally started falling off everywhere and even reached the point of semi baldness.

Every morning I would wake up and find locks of hair on the pillow.

Now I have shoulder length hair ( a head full of hair ) not too thick but not like before ( no bald spots ).

I still remember  how frightened I was  when I lost so much hair.

I never knew if I would ever grow it back.

For me I naturally grew back my hair. Once I started feeling stronger mentally and started healing from within, my hair just came back.

I strongly believe if you are healthy in mind and body, your hair will shine and reflect that inner happiness.

I started eating right, sleeping on time, taking needed rest, and occasionally applied coconut hair oil on my hair.

Hair fall can be caused by many reasons such as  high fever, over brushing,  childbirth, menopause, stress, infection, surgery, high fever, diets, tumors, syphilis.

Hair loss can be controlled  and richer hair growth achieved if we include Vitamins A, protein rich food, B6, B12, Folic acid, green leafy vegetables, biotin, Vitamin C in our diet. Silica capsules help strengthening hair, hair masks using coconut milk, Ginkgo Biloba can help with hair fall and new hair growth.

How much hair loss is natural?

Typically 10 hair for every hundred hair is considered normal. You will be losing around 8 to 9 percent of your hair daily and this is NORMAL.

So yes if you shed hair daily thatโ€™s okay.

What is not okay is losing a lot of hair like handfuls or locks of hair. To test if you are having severe hair loss, pull gently on a small section of hair.

If you have one or two hair in the hand , it is okay. But a full handful or locks of hair is not okay.

In that case consult a doctor.

Hair goes through 4 phases in its Life.

Anagen Phase of hair

This is the first stage of your hair. 90 percent of our hair in the Anagen phase, they are alive, growing and grow upto 1 cm in length.

Anagen Effluvium

Hair loss has a medical term called anagen effluvium. The hair stops growing due to many causes.

  • Seborrhoeic dermatitis
  • Iron deficiency
  • Medications
  • Infections
  • Malnutrition
  • Oral contraceptives
The hair should generally grow back in time in such cases.

Hair goes into shutdown phase 1 to 3 % of your hair are in this phase.  Hair shafts close down  or shrink, hair stops growing. Hair shafts are in eviction mode.

This is the actual shutdown phase where the hair rests and gets ready for falling. Your hair is ready to detach and usually falls anywhere in the next 100 days.
8 to 9 percent of hair is in this phase.

Telogen effluvium

This is another name for Hair Loss and is caused when hair falls excessively and prematurely.

Usually the hair will grow back over time.

The hair might have skipped the catagen phase and gone into telogen or a lot of hair shaft is lost causing hair loss and more specifically Telogen Effluvium.

I think I experienced this kind of hair loss due to ill health.

  • High Fever
  • Protein deficiency
  • Crash Diets
  • Stress
  • Surgery

The hair shaft evacuates and enters back into the Anagen phase or the first phase to produce new hair.
